Every successful journey starts with the first step. If you want to improve your finances, get out of debt, make more money, save for a vacation, plan your retirement, and do this all from home, then let’s begin! Define Your Journey
You can’t begin your income journey if you don’t know where you want to go. What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in 1 year, 5 years, etc? Are you just looking to make an extra $100/month so you can eat out or go shopping? No problem! If that’s your goal, then let’s make that happen! Are you trying to get out of debt? Saving for retirement? Looking for ways to make money on home? Need to save money grocery shopping? These are all excellent goals! No matter where you are in your finances, you need to know where you’re going. Print off this financial goals worksheet and fill it out. Writing down your goals helps keep you focused and make the goals more attainable.
Make More Money
One of the quickest ways to reach a financial goal is to increase your income. But I don’t want you to go out and get another job. I want you to be able to do this from home, when kids are asleep, when you have spare time, or instead of checking Facebook. Earning money from home can be done by anyone! Whether you’re a stay at home mom, already have a 40 hour a week job, or are a high school student needing some extra cash, you can do this! Save Money
Making more money is only helpful if you have your spending under control. There’s no benefit to earning an extra $100 if you’re going to use it on something that you could have bought for a lot cheaper. For most people, there is a myriad of ways to reduce their spending without changing their lifestyle. Track Your Journey
Tracking your spending can be one of the most beneficial financial decisions you can make! If you don’t know how much you make, how much you’re spending, or where your money is going then how can you expect to reach your financial goals? It is easier than ever to track your spending. There are excel spreadsheets, apps, Quicken, or simply carry around a small notebook and write it all down.
