Today I’m sharing my 4th income report! Check out my past income reports here. My goal is to make money from home while keeping my number one priority to be my family. This means I’m cooking, cleaning, going on field trips, arranging play dates, driving to/from sports, etc. and then working from home in my “spare” time. I hope you can gain some insight into what works (or doesn’t) and how you can make money from home too!
Overall October was decent. Not as great as September, but I was expecting it to be less. We were fortunate to take our kids on an awesome vacation for about a week of October. During that time I closed my Etsy shop, didn’t teach piano lessons, and didn’t blog. So keep in mind that these numbers represent only 3 weeks of working, pre & post-vacation recovery, and Halloween craziness making the month very busy from a mom point of view. Overall I’m very happy to be able to bring in any income without sacrificing my way of life or my kids’ schedules. Let’s take a look at the October details!

Website Pageviews: 7,274 – my page views went up a ton! Last month was only 3,877 so I’m happy about this!
Website Users: 5.233 (more than doubled from last month’s 2,474)
My page views and users each about doubled last month. It’s an awesome feeling to know that people are actually reading my blog and I’m having good growth. In November I hope to pass the 10,000 page views mark.
Conclusion
October was a good month for page views, but not a great month for income. I am hoping to get closer to the $1,000 mark in November by improving my affiliate earnings. I have many awesome companies I’m an affiliate for that I haven’t mentioned or promoted at all. However, the fact that I’m earning money each month with this blog and all my other income sources keeps me motivated to keep going. I’ve only been blogging for 6 months and I’ve made $927.88 just from this blog! I didn’t think it would be possible to make money so quickly with a new blog, but if I can do it then you can too! Congratulations on a great month! That’s amazing you’ve only been blogging six months and have already made close to $1,000! Also, you are totally proof that you don’t need a ton of pageviews to make money 🙂 If you had 10 times the pageviews, you’d be making ten times the money!
