I recently installed a very useful writing tool that I want to share with you. It’s called Grammarly. As a blogger, I am always trying to publish useful and helpful content. However, I am not an English major or professionally-trained writer. In fact, I’m a math/p.e. major which is about as close to opposite as you can get! So it’s a bit intimidating to be writing articles and getting paid for writing when I’ve never considered myself a writer. I love blogging, I want to share my passion for making money from home, but one English class in college is about as far as my training as a writer goes. That’s why I’m excited to share this awesome writing tool with you! Grammarly is a browser plugin that makes sure everything you type is easy to read and mistake-free. It’s free, easy to use, and can find errors that most other programs miss. It checks blog posts, emails, documents, social media posts, etc. It’s challenging to proofread your own content, so I’m very thankful another blogger recommended Grammarly to me.

In addition to checking my grammar, spelling, and helping me with vocabulary, Grammarly has a plagiarism checker. If you have a blog, website, or any published material, you can use Grammarly to verify that nobody is stealing your content. I’ve been told that plagiarized content hurts your SEO Google rankings, plus it’s awful to think of someone stealing what you worked so hard on. It’s comforting to know that Grammarly can help me out and make sure nobody is plagiarizing my posts. As I type this I’ve misspelled plagiarizing twice! Sheesh!
Even if you aren’t a blogger, Grammarly can help you proofread your emails, resume, cover letter, school assignments, and more. Plus it’s free! Check it out here.
