Welcome to my April 2017 blogging & income report! Check out my past income reports here. My personal goal is to make as much money as I can from home while not sacrificing any of my family responsibilities. This means I’m cooking, cleaning, going on field trips, arranging play dates, driving to/from sports, etc. and then working from home in my “spare” time. I started My Income Journey to show you how it’s possible to make money and save money from home! I hope you can gain some insight into what works (or doesn’t) and improve your own income journey! I love being a stay at home mom and think everyone should have the option to make money from home!

Conclusion
April was a crazy busy month (as was May) and I didn’t focus on my blogging as much as I had in the previous month. I actually took a temporary math teaching job to help a school finish out the year that needed a math teacher right away! I didn’t include that income here since this represents all my working from home income. I must say it was nice to get an actual, predictable paycheck, but it also made me realize how strongly I feel that I DON’T want to get a job that takes me away from home and isn’t flexible. I wasn’t able to go on my daughter’s field trip because I had to work, I had to leave a sick kid home alone for a little bit because it was easier than finding a sub. My goal is to get to $2,000/month working from home (and hopefully more, but that’s my realistic milestone for now). The exciting thing about reporting April’s income is it put me over the $10,000 total income mark! I just started My Income Journey in July 2016 and I’m very happy with my progress and how all these little work at home jobs really add up! See my cummulative income report here!
